Do you love animals? Have you ever considered offering your services as a pet sitter? Pet sitters take responsibility for a pet when an owner has to leave for a period of time. Usually, pet sitters will feed, water, clean up after, and maybe even walk the pet. Anyone who lives in an area where pets are not allowed can get their animal fix while being paid.

Average pay rate: From $25 to $50 per hour depending on region, length of the contract, responsibilities of the pet sitter, and the experience of the pet sitter.

Pros: Great way to make money while spending time with other people’s animals.

Cons: Finding initial clients can be difficult, and regular clients are rare.
