NEWSPAPER DELIVERER
If you enjoy rising before the rooster crows, traveling long distances in the dark, and carrying upwards of 100-pounds, perhaps you should consider the possibilities offered by delivering newspapers. Many good people chose to deliver newspapers as their first job, and this time-honored tradition builds character. The pay is not the best, but the sense of accomplishment is well worth the effort to most.

Average pay rate: $3 to $8 per hour depending on number of newspapers delivered.

Pros: Anyone can deliver newspapers, and there is a free daily newspaper thrown in to sweeten the pot.

Cons: The pay sucks, dogs do not like newspaper deliverers especially in the middle of the night, and there are no health benefits. Did I mention the pay sucks?
