As an informant, you get to snitch on your closest homeboys for a few extra dollars. Law enforcement officers will pay you for what you know! Nothing could be easier. Of course, if you plan on staying in the region for any length of time, chances are good this may not be the best career or lifestyle move for you.

Average pay rate: $5 to $5,000 depending on the usefulness of the information provided and the generosity of the law enforcement officer in question.

Pros: Fast, easy cash with no taxes involved.

Cons: Informants are not a popular person, and if you are discovered to be an informant, chances are good you will be maimed or worse.
