PET DETECTIVE
Do you like animals? Who cares! As a pet detective, you do not have to like animals. All a pet detective does is troll the lost and found section of local newspapers until an ad for a lost pet is found with the word “REWARD” in the ad. If the reward is not stated, usually the reward can range from $5 to $20, but there are all kinds of pets worth $500 or more! Sometimes, you will actually find the pet in the found section which makes your job all the easier.

Average pay rate: $5 to $5000 depending on the wealth of the pet owner.

Pros: You get to reunite people with their long lost pet which usually makes them really happy to see you.

Cons: As a pet detective, you will never be fully sure of the reward being paid once the pet is returned. If you have a bleeding heart, you will definitely not make money.
